Despite the fact that tripartite partners in Singapore are trying hard to cut costs in order to save jobs, Aljunied GRC MP Yeo Guat Kwang said many Singaporeans are still complaining about the employment situation instead of making use of assistance schemes made available by the government. He encouraged retrenched workers to remain optimistic and to actively seek new opportunities
